Absolutely diamond geezer the owner I think it’s one of the best little breakfast snack bars around you’re made to feel very welcome. Good atmosphere and food is really good top quality top-notch. You’re not hanging around waiting long either so your time the waiting time is very good, good speedy meals

A little hidden away from the main road this Cafe was fantastic, sparkling clean, really friendly staff and the food was superb. We were staying at Christchurch East Premier Inn, it’s a two minute walk away, a much better choice than their offerings at breakfast. We will definitely be returning

Clean and bright place. Service great and staff are very friendly. Initially discovered because open so early and we were wanting breakfast. Have since discovered the exceptional pasties and sausage rolls. Not much seating but definately worth a visit for the food and chat.

Cracking experience. Happy to see you as you sit down.. I Had the regular breakfast and a coffee which was really well cooked - crispy bacon (asked how I wanted it done) - nicely done toast with real butter - Perfect egg - great beans. All in just a really nice, relaxed experience. Thanks guys!
Opens early and great breakfast. We don’t eat meat but eat eggs.. the super friendly chef made us a terrific egg bap and hash brown and my daughter enjoyed a hot chocolate. Very friendly chef and great atmosphere

I've been popping into this place a couple of times a month for a while now. Rodney (the owner) has done wonders with time place since taking it. This little cafe/sandwich bar is rapidly building a bit reputation and is starting to become a favourite breakfast haunt for many of the local tradesmen. I normally pop in for a breakfast bap which is excellent. I well recommend it.

Lovely local cafe serving a great variety of delicious cooked breakfasts, breakfast baps, hot and cold sandwiches, snacks and cakes. Such friendly owners who make you feel so welcome and cook everything to your liking in front of you. Nothing is too much bother. Great value for money within a lovely friendly atmosphere. Can’t recommend enough.

A lovey local gem. The food is great and the chef is generous with the filling which is always brilliant. Also dogs are super welcomed and even scored their own treat from the menu. Extremely affordable and the chap was so friendly and brightened up our day. Will definitely come again.

Stayed in the nearby Premier Inn but didn’t really feel like having their breakfast. Had a breakfast bap and mug of coffee. Good quality. Not your usual cheap and cheerful sausage and bacon. Owner was very friendly. Only downside might be there isn’t a huge amount of seating space inside.

Popped in for lunch while duvet in launderette - lovely freshly made sandwiches and baps + good choice of hot or cold fillings - also hot + cold drinks and yummy lemon drizzle cake - couple of outside tables - friendly staff - will return

Rodney at Peggy's serves up the best breakfast rolls and subs in Christchurch in my opinion. Good value and freshly cooked.

Fantastic cafe. Service with a smile too. Foods reasonably priced. Get to have a conversation with the gent behind the counter which is a rarity in some places these days lol. Get yourself in and give it a go
